The TV Series VESTURFARAR (WESTWARD BOUND) consists of ten episodes about the N.A. Icelandic settlements, hosted by popular Icelandic TV host Egill Helgason, filmed in the summer of 2012.  Everyone in Iceland seemed to be watching it this fall…and now RUV Icelandic TV has subtitled it in English and made it into a boxed set.  As an extra, they have included another series, telecast in 1976, THE WEST ICELANDERS, and a documentary made in 1941 .
