Our cake is true to the virtues of our traditional Riverton, Manitoba family recipe brought from Iceland in 1875. It is a brilliant combination of simple ingredients layered and filled with handmade unsweetened prune plum purée, flavoured with freshly ground cardamom, our own Reyka Infused Vanilla and Almond Extracts and Nordur Arctic Sea Salt. The cake cures and gets better for up to three weeks refrigerated and up to 3 months in the freezer.
