When Bill Valgardson spoke to us about Those Highly Creative Icelandic Canadians in Saga Connections 2, he included mention of personal memoirs, diaries and biographies, mostly self-published, that are part of our literary heritage. We would like to host a Saga Connections which features these stories – your family stories.  

When did your immigrant ancestors come to Canada?  Where did they emigrate from? How did they make a new life?  What did they suffer?  How did they celebrate?  What are the stories of hope and courage?
