Reintroducing our library…and 2015 Iceland Writers’ Retreat

On January 12 we are reintroducing our library and have a special guest, Eliza Reid, talking about the Iceland Writers’ Retreat

Did you know that our club has a library, including books in both English and Icelandic? It contains fiction, books about history, copies of Icelandic Canadian magazine, and much more. We are reopening and you’re invited.

At the same time, we will have a visit from Eliza Reid, Founding Director of Iceland Writers Retreat. Canadian Eliza Reid has lived in Iceland for 11 years and is Founding Director of the Iceland Writers Retreat, an annual gathering for published and aspiring writers that is comprised of a series of small-group writing workshops and several cultural tours and readings designed to introduce people to Iceland’s rich literary heritage.
