Come and meet the young Snorri West Icelanders!
Four young Snorri West participants – Signý Æsa Káradóttir, Kristján Sævald Pétursson, Anna Guðrún Ragnarsdóttir and Hilmar Páll Hannesson – will be in Toronto from June 19th to 26th and you are invited to meet them!
SUN. June 22 – Annual June 17th Icelandic Independence Day Picnic
Independence Celebration Afternoon Picnic in Dufferin Grove Park Sunday June 22nd, 2-5pm.
June 17th marks the official Icelandic Independence day but our annual picnic at Dufferin Grove Park is happening on Sunday June 22 and from 2pm to 5pm.
Invite your family and friends out for this super fun FREE event. Bring your own food and drinks.
Locate the Icelandic flags and balloons in the park and you will find us!
THURS. June 26 – BLUE JAYS GAME – 6 PM
We will be catching a Jay’s game with the group and all are welcome to join! We will meet at 6:00 pm in between the Rogers Centre and Aquarium. We’ll head to the ticket desk as a group to purchase tickets individually, but in the same section.
