Nordic Nights: Driving Mum, by Hilmar Oddsson

Our next Nordic Nights feature is an Icelandic film from 2022: Driving Mum, by Hilmar Oddsson. 

When Jon’s mother, the single most dominant person in his life passes away, his anchor is gone. Compelled to honour her last wish, he takes on a journey to bring the body across Iceland to her home village for the final rest. As they travel on, Jon’s whole existence obtains a new meaning.

This Nordic Nights screening will be a hybrid event with a limited number of in-person attendees and also simultaneously streamed on-line through Zoom. Use the Zoom registration link to register to the event and let us know whether you would like to attend the movie screening in person. Attendees will be chosen first come first serve until the limited number of spots is full.
