2022 Iceland Travel Show
February 13, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Do you remember last summer when COVID restrictions began to lift? Eating in restaurants and meeting up with friends and thinking about travel again. It may be hard to imagine right now in the dead of winter and barely emerging out of a fourth wave in the pandemic, but this coming summer is beckoning with a promise of sunshine and adventure.
If you are considering Iceland, join the ICCT at the online Iceland Travel Show to gather some great tips and tricks for exploring this amazing land of fire and ice.
Featured speakers include:
“Direct from Iceland – The Cave People”. This tour was a highlight of our ICCT President Gwen Sigrid Morgan’s trip last summer and one of the guides is coming to share highlights of the amazing tour they offer – a must-see on your Golden Triangle Tour (see The Cave People).
“First Impressions” – Alex Ciappara ventured out last summer and chose to travel to Iceland. Come hear about what drew him to this land of fire and ice and what he discovered.
“Family travel” – Glen Thordarson was inspired to take his whole family to Iceland. Glen had the draw of wanting to connect with the home of his ancestors and have a fun-filled adventure with his wife and kids. Come hear some tips and tricks for organizing a smooth, stress-free and fun-filled trip family trip to Iceland.
Be Different – Iceland inspires tour operators to offer innovative ways of engaging with and exploring the geography, culture and history of this marvellous country. We are pleased to have join us Toronto’s Worldwide Quest, who is organizing the 2022 The Globe & Mail Journey to Iceland and offers many unique options for travel from solo-women adventures to exploring literary landscapes. This is an opportunity to ask your questions of a travel expert.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the Iceland Travel Show!
The Iceland Travel Show by the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto is presented for free, but we do have costs in putting on this and other programs. If you care to make a small donation to the Iceland Travel Show, this would be very much appreciated:
