The ICCT Scholarship is awarded annually to a student of Icelandic descent who is in or about to enter post-secondary education or training in Ontario. We are interested in attracting candidates who, in addition to high academic standing, leadership skills and community involvement, have a sincere interest in their Icelandic heritage. The applicant or applicant's family must be a member in good standing of the ICCT and must plan to be an active and involved member of the Club. The scholarship is presented at the ICCT Þorrablót (mid April) every year. Application deadline is the last day of February. Applications submitted after March 1 may be differed to the following year based on eligibility. Scholarship amount is up to $1000.00.
