- The Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto Scholarship
An award of $1,000.00 is available to be awarded to a student of Icelandic descent: The annual ICCT Scholarship. The scholarship is offered to a student who is in or about to enter post secondary education or training. We are interested in attracting candidates who, in addition to high academic standing, leadership qualities and community involvement, have an interest in their heritage.
The applicant or applicant's family must be a member in good standing of the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto.

Grants are available to people of Icelandic descent participating in the Snorri Program in 2010. These grants are offered to assist in the funding of your travel expenses. The amount awarded may vary from year to year, and will be subject to Board approval based on the number of applicants for the year and the funding available. We are interested in attracting candidates who, in addition to their Icelandic heritage, leadership qualities and community involvement, will be active and involved members of the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto upon their return.
The applicant or applicant's family must be a member in good standing of the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto.

Grant Application - Icelandic Language and Cultural Camp

The Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto has established a grant of $500 - to
be awarded to a child of Icelandic descent between the ages of 8 and 15 for
the purpose of attending the Icelandic Language and Cultural Camp at Camp Veselka (near Gimli),
Manitoba July 26th to July 31st, 2009. The main goal of this camp is to teach
Icelandic language and heritage in a fun atmosphere. Children under ten years of age would need to be accompanied
by a responsible adult or young adult who may want to come as junior
counsellor or counsellor. The grant is meant cover part of the costs of travel for the
child, camp fee ($300) and incidentals. The parent/guardian of the child
must be a member of the ICCT. For more information, contact Brian Eyolfson.
