ICCT Book Club

With the Icelandic reputation for being prolific readers, as well as the high literacy rates in both Canada and Iceland (last estimated at 100%), it follows that many of our members find great enjoyment in literature.

Along with the recent reopening of the ICCT Library, a new book club has been started and members are invited to participate.

If you are a member in the Toronto area:

If you are a member who lives outside of the GTA:

You can join us online through discussion boards and live chats. Please contact Holly, hgarrett@cogeco.ca to be added to the discussion boards and for more information about these online resources.

The first book is "Dropped Threads: What We Aren't Told", as it has contributions from club members. This is the first of the two Dropped Threads books and has been available for some time, so many of you may have read it and be ready to express your opinions. We have been able to affiliate the ICCT website with the Chapters/Indigo site to give you an easy way to order the book. Ordering through the link from our website will help the ICCT as 5% will be reimbursed to the club.
